Teenage pregnancy-A curse

By teenage pregnancy, one refers to the pregnancy in a female who is under the age of 20. In some countries, the age barrier may also be lowered to 19 or 18 as well. A pregnancy can result in any time after the first menstrual cycle. The dependence of pregnancy rates on personal and societal experiences is high.

Causes of teenage pregnancy

Sexuality is a big cause of teenage pregnancy. To fulfil one’s sexual needs, people forego underage sexual acts. Drugs and alcohol can make a person lose his or her mind for quite some time. A person commits a lot of mistakes while hallucinating. So, having alcohol and drugs can be a prime reason for teenage pregnancy.

Problems related to pregnancy at an early age

Most of the teenagers having pregnancy suffer from obstetric issues very often. This occurs just like a woman in her 20 or 30 getting pregnant. Also, being a mother at an age below 19 not only brings to the front door societal problems, it also brings about economic problems. It also brings about a lot of biological problems. Also, it requires a lot of extra medication being a mother at that age. A low birth weight is a very prominent result of teenage pregnancy. In many countries, teenage pregnancy is also associated with a lot of Socioeconomic factors. Poverty is a big reason for teenage pregnancy. Countries like the United States and the United Kingdom suffer from high rates of teenage pregnancy as well.
A person should take special care to avoid pregnancies before suitable age. It can in many ways, just mar a life.

Sex education programs

Many parents think that involving sex education through different sex education programs to their children may guide them to wrong path, but this concept is totally wrong. In this rapidly growing world, children shall be smart in all respect. Sex education mainly refers to the basic knowledge about human sexual behaviour. And there are many different programs for imparting sex education; some of them are organised communities, schools, care takers and sometimes parents too.

Ways to educate a child about sex education

There are some common ways to provide education about sex. Firstly, we need to be sympathetic and shall not provide lectures so that the interest does not go out. Secondly, we shall try to explain the facts relating to sex in the same manner as other fact are being explained in a simple manner. Thirdly, if any doubt arises in child’s mind, that shall be cleared immediately. Fourthly, the stage of puberty shall be explained before they come in puberty stage. These are some of the common things that needs to be taught.

Different programs about sex education

There are different programs that impart sex education. Firstly, many different organisations organises sex education programs so as to make aware of sex related things to kids. Secondly, there are schools where different topics relating to sex education are being imparted by expert teachers. Schools are of also two types, that is private and public. In private, education is being given alone but in public, it is done with groups. Thirdly, parents play an important role for getting their children educated in sex, as they are well acquainted with their children. Thus these are some sex education programs that really help children.

Sex education in schools

Sex education refers to the education based on the sexual behaviour of the humans. In the present scenario it is being imparted to the children in their schools. Reaching adolescence, the body goes through different sexual and hormonal changes, which in turn brings behavioural changes in the children, like getting irritated easily and many more. So in order to control these sexual impulses a formal sex education is very important.

Role of teachers at school

Teachers play a very vital role in imparting sex education to the children because they are the one who can better control the flow of emotions of the children. Discussing about this topic in a classroom will make them feel comfortable. They will feel that it is very casual and there is someone who can understand them. Trained teachers can impart the sex education in a very healthy manner which would not be misunderstood by the children. Sex education must be provided step by step with the help of different programs and courses. It must include the topics like understanding relationships, sexual abstinence and then having safe sex. Children must also be made aware of the diseases related to sex, their causes and also their precautions. This will not only be beneficial for the children but also for the society as a whole.

Nowadays, children are exposed to different sexual media. So sex educations aim at making the children emotionally stronger and cope up with relationships. As children spend most of their time in the school among their friends of the same age so providing sex education in the school is the best option.

The word sex education itself gives a clear idea that gaining knowledge about human sexual approach and sex education for kids is an integral part in this century. There are many ways to have sex education, like parents, caretaker and also there are some schools that gives such types of education with sex videos. Many parents think that imparting sex education may mislead their child but this concept is totally wrong because ignoring these things may cause great problems.

Need of sex education

A period comes in every people who are called adolescence and during this the teens face a great change in every respect relating to their sexes. During this phase they face great pressure in themselves, also they become quite irritable and this is only due to the development of different sexual hormones that lead to the need of sex. And due to this they find it difficult to cope up with family members and also most of them hide their changes to mind and body. And for this reasons sex education for kids plays an important role to avoid such problems.

Things to know about sex for kids

There are some things that need to be known by the kids. Firstly, use of condoms. Some steps must be taken so as to approach this. Secondly, diseases that arise from sex like syphilis, aids must be taught so as to make kids smarter. Thirdly, things relating to pregnancies must be approached as the development of sexual hormones may mislead the teens and many more. For these reasons sex education for kids holds a great ground.

Sex Education

The formal programs of instructions related to human sexuality, including sexual reproduction, sexual intercourse, reproductive Sexual Health, reproductive rights and responsibilities and other aspects of human sexual behaviour is known as sex education. Parents, school programs and several aware camps are the avenues for sex education. There are several aspects of human sexuality like biological, emotional and physical aspects. The reproductive system refers to the biological aspects. The bonds between people and their feelings for each other refer to emotional and physical aspects. Adolescents are very curious about all the aspects of sexuality and they also wish to experience their sexuality. Sexuality is an important aspect of human beings including children. They also want to know about it. In foreign countries sex education is included in schools and colleges. Sex education includes family planning, reproduction, birth control, sexual pleasure.

scientific studies and public studies

Scientific studies include the study related to the biological aspects which includes sexual intercourse. It also includes the study and research related to adolescence pregnancy and the rates of adolescence pregnancy are examined in several countries and it is seen that the rate is lowest in Netherlands. The public studies include surveys, camps organised in several countries about the need of sex education. And a large number of people replied that discussions with friends are very useful. Another public source was media.

Morality

The main motive of sex education is to reduce sex behaviours such as unprotected sex. Sex education also enables an individual to gain control over body and liberation. So the conclusion that we get is sex education is necessary and people should not hesitate to discuss about sex with their friends or children.

Sex education and parents-The important part

The first source of sex education for the children must be their parents. They should not feel uncomfortable to discuss about sex with their children because it is their responsibility to teach their children about human sexuality. Now a days sex education has been implemented in several schools but it doesn’t means that the responsibility of parents to teach them about sex has been removed. The schools only teach them about the anatomy of human sexuality and all the other aspects of human sexuality are often placed on sidelines and this is where the role of parents come who must teach their children the moral obligations oh human sexuality. Sex education is very necessary for teenagers to teach them their moral obligations towards their opposite sex. This also makes the teenagers sexually very active and open up their eyes about the possible ramification of their action. Several studies have shown that discussing about does not encourage the interest of teen in sexual activity. Some of the parents wait for their teens to approach them to know about sex instead of opening up to them which is not at all a good thing. The amplifications of the sexual behaviour by the teenagers must be well understood by them.

conclusion

so the parents must be a source of development of their children by the time he/she know about their sexuality so that later on their children do not feel uncomfortable in discussing with them about the topic. It is difficult for the parents to discuss about the topic with their children but it is their responsibility from which they cannot escape.

And on the side of sexually transmitted diseases?

Here the data are more cumbersome and more difficult to compare, but may be indicative of what the World Health Organization reported on the infection by chlamydia, a very insidious germ, sometimes because of infertility caused by infections neglected in explaining the prevalence in the 90 : Italy 2.7%, France 3.9%, Netherlands 4.9%, UK 6.2%.

So what? If these are the results of sex education in school, I want to be optimistic and hope that Italy will not give even one cent more for these initiatives, letting each, according to their degree of ripeness, to start its path toward the discovery a great and powerful human dimension.

The journalist Peter Seewald, Joseph Ratzinger in a few lines showed an error that the post-modern man struggling to understand: “We want to also take over human existence by means of the technique and we have forgotten that there are human problems that can not be originating resolved through it, but they require a style of life decisions. ”

Before that faith is a matter of fact, in the public sphere of responsibility and appropriateness of investments.

But is this true?

What should be the objectives of this supposed educational progress? Since you will seek the views of representatives from the world of medicine, sex education taught to children and young people in schools should be used to reduce sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancies and abortions among young people. Why else the state should ask citizens already choked by taxes more sacrifices? Or you prefer a simple breakdown of the diverted funds for school construction in favor of “good manners” sex?

In England, some time ago, not knowing how to get on to the spread of pregnancies and abortions among minors, we printed a brochure which was a program entitled: “An orgasm a day keeps the doctor away.”

The prestigious British Medical Journal, however, had in 2009 published a study whose results were not precisely those expected: analyzing a group of 446 young people at risk, researchers have found that girls who had been given a program containing information on contraception showed a pregnancy rate three and a half times higher than peers who had not attended those lectures. With an abortion rate among young people up to 19 years was 23 in England the body that has given the green light for the television advertising of abortion clinics.

In France, a country where the number of morning-after pills sold last year was one million and one hundred thousand packs, the nation where 95% of sexually active women who do not wish to become pregnant using contraception, most pill and made of spiral, the country where they are compulsory sex education 40 hours a year, 213,382 abortions were charged in 2007 with a rate of abortions among girls aged 15-19 of 15.6.

In Sweden, a country where the association for sex education was founded in 1933 by feminist Elise Ottesen-Jensen, which appeared in 1945 the first textbook on sex education for teachers, where in 1955 the sex education in schools became compulsory in the country where the Vikings from an early age are taught to become familiar with the vulcanized latex “condom’s days”, what is the abortion rate among young people?

Only, so to speak, 22.5, three times higher than that recorded among the same age Italic, for which the latest report amounted to 7.2, despite the “poor” young Italians are forced to learn from friends, web, and just think ‘that abomination, even by parents. The figures from the Netherlands, where there is a school program for boys Long Live Love at least 13 years, do not differ much.
